Zuly was born in Lima, Peru and currently resides in LA, California. She has been teaching Salsa for over 12 years in the South Bay, Los Angeles and the Orange county area. Prior to becoming an instructor Zuly danced as a hobby, but that would all change when Francisco Vazquez discovered her while scouting the LA social scene for unique and gifted dancers to form his new dance group "Los Rumberos Dance Co."  In addition to her extensive training in Salsa dance with Mr. Vazquez she has also studied gymnastics and jazz dance.  During her seven years with the "Los Rumberos Dance Co" Zuly performed and taught workshops here in the United States and throughout the world. Zuly’s unique style has won her several competitions in the Los Angeles area including the Salsa Contest held during the filming of the hit movie "Dance with Me" starring Chayanne and Vanessa Williams.  When the first Online Salsa School in the World - Danceonbeat.com - launched they chose Zuly as their host.  With her patience, wealth of knowledge, and sincere passion for Salsa dancing Zuly has developed an instructional style that makes the learning process both fun and easy.
